Gloria Elliott, Chief Executive , Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation.
An entrepreneur of many years’ experience, Gloria is the creative force behind a dynamic NAS team. By working closely with national and local government, industry, academics and the public, the NAS, through innovative practical solutions helps to solve the diverse problems of unwanted noise. The Society’s pioneering work is recognised throughout the world.

Amongst other campaigns, Gloria conceived and pioneered the Society’s Silent Approach ™ programme, which was subsequently used as the basis for the UK government-backed Quiet Deliveries Demonstration Scheme and TfLs London 2012 trials.Gloria is also founder and Chief Executive of Quiet MarkTM, the international mark of approval for excellence in quiet design technology and solutions.
She was UK work package leader for the European Call FP7 2008 on Quiet, Clean, Safe Sustainable Delivery in partnership with Transport for London, and a member of the British Standards Institute on its technical committee EH1/2 Transport Noise.
