With 20 years experience in large scale retail logistics, Sean now leads on strategy for logistics standards, vehicle procurement and specification for Tarmac. He also represents the business at many logistics and construction industry events and forums. Working across all Business Unit’s on key transport related projects, Sean’s role is also to support the transport teams on maximising the logistics capability in order to meet customers varied demands.
Sean has worked as part of the CLOCS working group, FORS Governance group and the Mineral Products Association on a many industry wide projects. These have been particularly focussed around Vulnerable Road User Safety, driver training and vehicle specification standards.
Alongside this work Sean has also played a key role in the logistics strategy development for Tarmac heading into 2016. This has taken the form of a fleet sizing exercise and most recently a full rebrand following the purchase by CRH.
