Amber Valley Developments LLP are delighted to showcase their modular BLINDSPOT Elimination system. The system combines a dedicated ECU that is factory programmable to incorporate indicator and speed modules so any part can be powered from the indicator and/or speed pulsed circuit. The speed modules have different pre-programmed speeds for different applications and a variety of inhibits for night time operation and even a facility to turn existing lighting into indicator pulse lighting. This means a vehicle operator can add our Sidewarn system which is a sensor system designed to warn the driver of cyclists entering the BLINDSPOT (near side) of the vehicle, or our side camera, or 360 degree camera system. Most importantly the fleet engineer has a choice of INDICATOR ALARM LIGHT the ONLY Audio/ Visual alarm on the market together with either our bespoke LED MESSAGE LIGHT or our LED CYCLE LIGHT to warn the cyclist or pedestrian of the danger.

Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles offer zero emission road transport, but with much greater range than battery vehicles so they can fit into normal operations without disruption. Arcola Energy is the UK agent for the only zero emission hydrogen van currently available. The Symbio FCell Kangoo H2 is a range extended version of the Renault Kangoo ZE and has a range of 250 miles. Arcola Energy provides sales, deployment support, maintenance and engineering support for these vans to fleets.

Leading UK chassis converter, Astra Vehicle Technologies Ltd, will be exhibiting the ClearView(TM) range of low level passenger door window products, originally developed for DAF UK (CF & LF), but also now available for Iveco, MAN, and Scania vehicle brands.

ClearView (TM) by Astra, provides improved direct vision to the nearside of a vehicle to help protect vulnerable road users via a large area vision panel, made from toughened & “e” marked automotive glass, which is bonded in place for security.

Uniquely, all Astra ClearView products are designed to allow the main passenger electric window to function normally, with full opening capability. Where the OE door is vented to aid demisting, the Astra ClearView solution diverts a portion of the manufacturers’ air flow system to aid demisting of the low level window area.
