Chris Rowland

Managing Director, MDS Transmodal

Chris Rowland is the managing director of MDS Transmodal, the freight transport and logistics consultancy, and is a transport economist. Chris started his career at the National Audit Office in London and then spent six months working at DGVII Transport of the European Commission before joining MDS Transmodal in 1996. He has almost 20 years’ experience as a consultant, specialising in providing private and public sector clients with advice on freight and logistics markets and freight policy. Clients include DG MOVE, the DfT, major UK and continental ports and UK city regions and local authorities.
