Ian Stansfield FCILT

Ian has 25 years’ experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, working in third-party logistics and for Asda stores. He has extensive experience in retail and e-commerce logistics, transport and supply chain. Ian started his career with Glass Glover Distribution in 1989 before moving onto Wincanton in 1993. He joined Asda in 2001 and has developed one of the most customer facing and efficient retail and e-commerce logistics and delivery networks in the industry. In 2015 he launched the ‘toyou’ service that enables online retailers to collect and return parcels in Asda stores. Ian is a non-exec board member of the Freight Transport Association and has very recently left Asda to set up Summit Logistics Consulting.
