Nick Gallop has worked in the rail freight sector for more than 25 years, helping spearhead new domestic and cross-Channel rail services for end customers and train operators. In recent years Nick has helped pilot trainload express freight services to and from London for Eddie Stobart, TNT and Sainsbury’s, as well as working on the first of a new generation of strategic rail freight interchanges configured for express freight services. Nick’s detailed knowledge of railway operations and technical feasibility as well as his understanding of the challenges facing major retailers, e-tailers and carriers provides the perfect balance necessary to drive the InterCity RailFreight service portfolio in exactly the right direction.
