David Beeton

Managing Director of Urban Foresight

Dr. David Beeton is Managing Director of Urban Foresight, a consulting think tank focused on future cities. David is a recognised expert in strategies and policies to promote widespread adoption of ultra-low emission vehicles and the development of smart and sustainable cities. He leads global projects for the International Energy Agency (IA-HEV) on e-mobility business models and electric vehicle ecosystems, and is also Director of E-cosse, a Transport Scotland funded public-private partnership to advance plug-in vehicle adoption in Scotland.

David holds two Masters degrees in Engineering, an Executive MBA and was awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge for his work to pioneer new roadmapping techniques for industry foresight.
